Kudu



Kudu, large antelope (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) with long spiral horns. It feeds mainly on leaves. The coat is fawn or gray with white spots and stripes. The greater kudu lives in Africa, south of the Sahara, in scrub or dry bush country. The lesser kudu lives in the northeastern corner of Africa.
