Oskar Kokoschka
Kokoschka, Oskar (1886–1980), Austrian expressionist painter and writer. He is known for psychologically acute portraits such as The Tempest (1914) and forlyric land- and townscapes including Jerusalem and View of the Thames (1925–26).
