Kiwanis International, community service association for business and professional men, having some 4,500 clubs and 285,000 members in the United States and Canada. Its objectives are to promote higher standards in business, to promulgate the Golden Rule, and to take part in community affairs. Founded in Detroit in 1915, its headquarters are in Chicago.
