Elizabeth Kenny



Kenny, Elizabeth (1886–1952), Australian nurse. She is best known for developing the treatment of infantile paralysis combining hot, moist applications with exercise. She coauthored the Kenny Concept of Infantile Paralysis and Its Treatment (1942) and And They Shall Walk (1943).
