Robinson Jeffers



Jeffers, Robinson (1887–1962), U.S. poet. His powerful poetry, its tone disillusioned, laments human fate and glorifies nature. Tamar and Other Poems (1924) is his best-known collection, but his chief success was an adaptation of Euripides' Medea (1946).
