Jaeger



Jaeger, any of various large, fast-flying birds (genus Stercoranius) of the northern seas. Jaegers nest in the Arctic but migrate south along the coasts of the United States. They can be recognized by their slender, bent wings and their fan-shaped tails, with 2 long feathers in the center.
