Huston, name of 3 film personalities. Walter Huston (1884–1950), Canadian-born U.S. actor, is best known for his roles in the play Dodsworth (1936), the musical comedy Knickerbocker Holiday (1938), and the film The Treasure of Sierra Madre (1947) directed by his son John Huston (1906–87), Hollywood writer, then director, whose other films include The Maltese Falcon (1941), The Asphalt Jungle (1950), The African Queen (1951), Moby Dick (1956) and The Dead (1987). John Huston's daughter Anjelica Huston (1951– ) won the Academy Award for best supporting actress in Prizzi's Honor (1985).
