Helios



Helios, in Greek mythology, god of the sun and son of the Titans Hyperion and Theia. Helios is often represented driving a 4-horse chariot that rises from the ocean in the east in the morning and descends into the western sea at night. In Hellenistic times he became identified with Apollo.
