Book of Habakkuk



Habakkuk, Book of, book of the Old Testament, eighth of the Minor Prophets. Though nothing is known of Habakkuk himself, the book probably dates from the late 7th century B.C. It consists of poems about God's using the Chaldaeans to punish Judah and includes promises of divine justice.
