Nicholas Gilman



Gilman, Nicholas (1755–1814), New Hampshire politician. A signer of the Constitution of the United States, Gilman's main contribution was securing its ratification in New Hampshire. He served 4 terms (1789–97) in the House of Representatives and was a United States Senator (1805–14).
