Gavial



Gavial (Gavialis gangeticus), harmless, slender-nosed relative of alligators and crocodiles. It is found in Indian rivers, where it grows to a maximum of 20 ft (6 m) on a diet of fish. The false gharial is a crocodile of southeastern Asia.
