Clark Gable



Gable, Clark (1901–60), U.S. film star. Gable won a 1934 Academy Award for a comedy role in It Happened One Night. His most famous role was Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind (1939). Called “the King,” he was a leading box-office draw for more than 2 decades.
