Flatheads

Flatheads, Native American tribe of the Salish linguistic family inhabiting western Montana. Neighboring tribes, who shaped the front of their heads to a point, called them “Flatheads.” The Flatheads were early converts to Christianity, and most now live in Flathead Lake, Montana.
