Eland

Eland, largest antelope (6 ft/180 cm), belonging to the family Bovidae, with spiral horns and a short mane. Found in central and southern Africa, elands live in herds of up to 100. Attempts have been made to domesticate elands, because they can survive in very dry conditions and give excellent milk and meat.
