Dvina River



Dvina River, name of 2 rivers in the former USSR. The Western Dvina or Daugava rises west of Moscow and flows 633 mi (1,019 km) east, to the Gulf of Riga in Latvia. The Northern Dvina flows 455 mi (732 km) northwest to the port of Archangel on the White Sea.
