Roger Antoine Duvoisin



Duvoisin, Roger Antoine (1904–80), Swiss-born U.S. author and illustrator of children's books. Duvoisin won the 1948 Caldecott Medal, a major U.S. award for children's book illustration for White Snow, Bright Snow, written by Alvin Tresselt. He wrote and illustrated the popular Petunia and Veronica series, and illustrated the series Happy Lion, written by his wife, Louise Fatio.
