Paul Abraham Dukas



Dukas, Paul Abraham (1865–1935), French composer and critic. Best known for The Sorcerer's Apprentice, written in 1897 in the lively symphonic form known as scherzo, Dukas also composed the opera Ariadne and Bluebeard (1907) and the ballet The Peri (1912).
