Sir Anton Dolin

Dolin, Sir Anton (1904–83), English choreographer and dancer. He worked closely with dancer Alicia Markova, as her partner, choreographer, and cofounder of several companies. Among the ballet companies he founded were the Royal Ballet and the American Ballet Theater. Among the works he choreographed was Le Pas de Quatre. Dolin also wrote several books on dance.
