Discrimination

Discrimination, in science, perception of difference or of differential response, or ability to perceive slight differences. A discrimination experiment tests the presence of the ability to discriminate under certain conditions. A discrimination reaction is a variation between 2 or more stimuli before reacting; the time that is needed is the discrimination time.
