Disciples of Christ (The Christian Church), now the International Convention of Christian Churches, U.S. religious body founded (1832) by followers of Alexander Campbell. It has no formal ministry or creed, teaching personal faith in the Bible and the gospel of Christ. It has missions all over the world.
