Bernard Augustine De Voto



De Voto, Bernard Augustine (1897–1955), U.S. journalist and author. He won national fame as a contributor to Harper's magazine. His books include Mark Twain's America (1932), the Pulitzer Prize-winning Across the Wide Missouri (1947), and the novel The Crooked Mile (1924).
