Deucalion



Deucalion, in Greek mythology, son of the Titan Prometheus. Deucalion and his wife, Pyrrha, were the sole survivors of a flood visited on humanity by Zeus. After the flood, Deucalion and Pyrrha cast stones that turned into men and women who repopulated the earth. Deucalion and Pyrrha's own son, Hellen, is regarded as the ancestor of the Greeks.
