Prince Louis Victor De Broglie



De Broglie, Prince Louis Victor (1892–1987), French physicist who received the 1929 Nobel Prize in physics for his discovery that the behavior of electrons, like that of light, could be explained in terms of wave motion. De Broglie's theory led to the development of wave mechanics, an important part of quantum mechanics.
