Arthur Bowen Davies



Davies, Arthur Bowen (1862–1928), U.S. painter in the romantic-idealist tradition. A leader of the American modern movement and a member of the Ashcan School as well as chief organizer of the 1913 Armory Show, Davis is noted for the lyrical and abstract Unicorns and Dreams (1908).
