Jacques D'Amboise



D'Amboise, Jacques (1934– ), U.S. dancer and choreographer. He became a soloist with the New York City Ballet and was recognized for his outstanding performance in the ballet Apollo by George Balanchine. He is known for his roles in Western Symphony (1954), the film Carousel (1956), and his own ballet, Irish Fantasy (1964). D'Amboise is also known for his work with young people and dance.
