Wirehaired pointing griffon



Wirehaired pointing griffon, hunting dog first bred in the Netherlands in the late 1800s. A slow, deliberate hunter, it points its body toward the location of the game. The griffon stands 19-23 in (48–58 cm) high and weighs 50-60 lb (23–27 kg). Its rough coat is steel gray and chestnut brown in color.
