Weser River



Weser River, major German river whose source is the junction of the Fulda and Werra rivers at Munden. The Weser is about 273 mi (440 km) long and flows into the North Sea near Bremerhaven. About 45 mi (72 km) of the river, from its North Sea mouth to Bremen, is navigable by large ships.
