Warwick



Warwick (pop. 87,123), city in east-central Rhode Island, on Pawtuxet River and Narragansett Bay. The township government of Warwick was organized in 1647, and became an industry-based settlement when mills were built on the Pawtuxet River. The city's major industries include production of textiles, clothing, and metal products.
