Seth Warner

Warner, Seth (1743–84), hero of the American Revolutionary War and a leader of the Green Mountain Boys. He helped capture Fort Ticonderoga, took Crown Point, N.Y. (1775), and was largely responsible for the victory at Bennington (1777).
