Mike Tyson



Tyson, Mike (1966– ), U.S. boxer. He won the World Boxing Council heavyweight title in 1986 to become the youngest winner of a boxing championship to date. In 1987 he went on to win the World Boxing Association (WB A) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) titles. He lost his heavyweight titles after being knocked-out by James “Buster” Douglas in 1990. From 1992–95 he was imprisoned on charge of a sexual assault. Afterwards he returned into the boxing ring. In 1996 he was suspended after biting off a piece of his opponent's ear.
