Stromboli



Stromboli, Italian island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off northeastern Sicily. It has an area of approximately 5 sq mi (13 sq km) and contains an active volcano, which is 3,031 ft (924 m) high. The volcano produces a continuous flow of lava that pours into the sea. Its volcano, as well as its climate and beaches, make Stromboli a popular tourist attraction.
