Sloth bear

Sloth bear, or honey bear, slow-moving mammal of the bear family found in the warm forest regions of India and Sri Lanka. Although its sense of smell is highly developed, the sloth bear has poor vision and hearing. A staple of its diet is insects, which it ferrets out with its long claws and snout, then sucks in through spaces between the teeth. It is also known to like honey. A sloth bear stands about 5 ft (1.5 m) tall and can weigh up to 250 lb (113 kg). Unlike some other bears, it does not hibernate during the winter months.
