Israel Joshua Singer

Singer, Israel Joshua (1893–1944), Polish-born U.S. Yiddish novelist, playwright, and journalist, best known for his epic novel The Brothers Ashkenazi (1936). He was the brother of novelist Isaac Bashevis Singer.
