Eddie Robinson

Robinson, Eddie (Edward Gay Robinson; 1919– ), the most victorious coach in college football history. In 1985, Robinson guided Grambling State University to its 324th win, surpassing the record of 323 wins held by Paul (Bear) Bryant. Grambling State has captured 14 Southwestern Athletic Conference championships under Robinson and more than 200 of his players have gone on to professional football teams.
