Tilman Riemenschneider



Riemenschneider, Tilman (c. 1460–1531), German Gothic sculptor in wood and stone. He worked in Würzburg, where many of his works survive, and carved the marble tomb of Emperor Henry II and his wife in Bamberg Cathedral (1499–1513).
