Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann
Riemann, Georg Friedrich Bernhard (1826–66), German mathematician, whose best-known contribution is the initiation of studies of non-Euclidean geometry. Elliptic geometry is often referred to as Riemannian geometry.
