Ragweed

Ragweed, or hogweed, composite weedy herb (genus Ambrosia) with inconspicuous flower heads. The giant ragweed, or buffaloweed, grows up to 18 ft (5.5 m) high. Ragweed pollen is an important cause of hay fever. Some ragweeds have tiny seeds, others have spiny burs that catch in hair and clothing.
