Pierre Esprit Radisson



Radisson, Pierre Esprit (1636?–1710), French fur trader who worked for both French and British in the exploration of parts of present-day Minnesota and Wisconsin. His reports of the wealth of furs obtainable prompted the creation of the Hudson's Bay Company.
