Philodendron

Philodendron, genus of South American evergreen plants frequently grown as greenhouse and house plants. Many are vigorous climbers and produce attractive foliage, but they rarely flower in cultivation. The most popular climbing species are Philodendron oxycardium (heart-leaf philodendron), P. sodiroi (silver-leafed), and P. panduraeforme (fiddle leaf, or horsehead), while P. bipinnatifidum and P. selloum are self-heading cut-leaved types, closely resembling monstera except for their nonclimbing habit. Propagation is by shoot cuttings or air layering.
