Pennyroyal

Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium), any of 4 species of low-growing herb of the mint family Labiatae native to Europe, Asia, and North America. Pennyroyal has purple flowers on prostrate stems. The oval leaves are cultivated for their oil, used in medicine, perfume, and insect repellents.
