José Clemente Orozco

Orozco, José Clemente (1883–1949), Mexican painter. He exploited the fresco technique in his large-scale murals, which express strong social convictions. His most famous works include the fresco Prometheus (1930), Mankind's Struggle (1930), and the mural Epic Culture in the New World (1932–34).
