Leonora O'Reilly



O'Reilly, Leonora (1870–1927), U.S. women's rights activist, instrumental in developing the National Women's Trade Union League for protection of women workers' rights (1903) and in establishing the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). She promoted women's vocational training, fought for increased wages for garment workers, and was active in the Woman Suffrage Party.
