Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell Lord

Baden-Powell, Robert Stephenson Smyth, Lord (1857–1941), British army officer and founder of the Boy Scouts (1908) and Girl Guides (1910). His sister, Agnes Baden-Powell, was cofounder of the Girl Scouts. His published works include Scouting for Boys (1908) and Girl Guiding (1917).
