Dutchman's-breeches, perennial plant (Dicentra cucullaria) of the Fumariaceae family. Native to eastern and midwestern North America, it is most often found in woodland areas. The yellow-tipped white flowers, resembling pantaloons hanging upside down, inspired the plant's name.
