Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina

Trujillo Molina, Rafael Leonidas (1891–1961), Dominican Republic dictator (1930–61) and president (1930–38, 1942–52). He introduced much material progress but savagely suppressed political opposition and feuded with neighboring countries. He was assassinated.
