Elizabeth Cady Stanton



Stanton, Elizabeth Cady (1815–1902), U.S.abolitionist and feminist. With Lucretia Mott, she organized the first women's rights convention in the United States (1848). She founded the National Woman Suffrage Association with Susan B. Anthony (1869).
