Cow parsnip



Cow parsnip (Heracleum maximum), large perennial plant of the carrot family. Generally considered a weed, it can serve as a fodder. It thrives in damp soil. Cow parsnip can reach a height of 13 ft (4 m); it bears a white flowers that grow in clusters up to 20 in (50 cm) in diameter.
