Samuel Taylor Coleridge



Coleridge, Samuel Taylor (1772–1834), English poet, philosopher, and critic. His works include the poems “Kubla Khan,” “Christabel,” and “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” all 3 of which were included in the volume Lyrical Ballads (1798), a collection Coleridge produced with William Wordsworth. The book is one of the major works of English Romanticism.
