Ramsey Clark



Clark, Ramsey (1927– ), U.S. lawyer and politician. He served in the Department of Justice (1961–66) as assistant attorney general and deputy attorney general, becoming U.S. Attorney General in 1966, under President Lyndon B. Johnson. Clark was a strong proponent of civil rights and of the Vietnam War.
