Saint John Chrysostom



Chrysostom, Saint John (c.347–407 A.D.), Greek Father and Doctor of the Church. He was called Chrysostom (“golden mouthed”) for his powers of oratory. He was patriarch of Constantinople (398–404) and became its patron saint.
